About our Host…
Chris Garner found his singing voice at the age of three, but it wasn’t until his college years at the University of Georgia that he became serious about his love of music and performing. The Georgia native began writing his own music in 2014, retelling the story of the untimely passing of a close family friend with his heart-touching song “Tremors”. Since that time, Chris has become known for his authentic storytelling and his infectious personality.
After making the move to Nashville in 2017, Chris has become a fixture on the songwriting circuit, playing legendary venues like Puckett’s Grocery in Leipers Fork and The Local in Nashville’s West End. Whether it’s his love of fishing, beer or backporch sittin’, Chris writes about what he knows and has earned an impressive reputation in a city of exceptional talent.
Chris is sharing his love of authentic original music with the world by inviting his closest friends and co-writers to the Nashville Songwritin’ Kats stage week after week.
